OBITUARY
Robert John Ringleb Sr., age 82, of Shalimar, Florida, passed away on March 30, 2018. He was born to Bernhard and Lillian Ringleb on February 7, 1936 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bob will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years before retiring as a Major in 1977. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star.
Bob was a manufacturing engineer when he worked as a DoD contractor until his second retirement in 2006. He enjoyed building radio-controlled airplanes, being a photographer, woodworker, fisherman, ostrich rancher, and most of all sharing all these interests with his family. He was an ordained Southern Baptist deacon who loved the Lord and shared his faith with all he came in contact with.
He is predeceased by his brother, Paul B. Ringleb; his sister, Katherine Kosinski; and his parents, Bernhard and Lillian Ringleb. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Poole Ringleb; his sister, Christine (Jack) Kosinski; his children, Lory (Greg) Wood, Robert John (Cindy) Ringleb, Jr., and Susan (Alan) Carmack; his grandchildren, Heather (Scott) Mooers, Marissa (Clark) Holland, Blaine Carmack, Ashley Wood, Paul Ringleb; and his great-grandchildren, Lily Mooers, and Ryleigh Holland.
He is buried at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida.
